  • The old Vaison is very nice to walk around. Beautiful architecture and old houses, seen dominant on Vaison "Down".

  • As its name suggests, Vaison is mainly known for its ancient sites (Puymin and the Vilasse), its Roman theatre and Museum archaeological (Théo Desplans). But Vaison also has a fine example of medieval fortified village. It is reached by crossing the Roman bridge spanning the Ouvèze and climbing up the steep streets of the Hill to the remnants of the County Castle (Castle of the counts of Toulouse). Alleys, doors and walls, the old town hall, the belfry, the mansions, the fountains, the laundry and the Sainte-Marie-de - L'Assomption Cathedral Church are beautiful. There are many workshops of artists and restaurants. The view over the Valley of the Ouvèze since the Castle greatly deserves the effort required for access. Beautiful ballad!

  • Physics certainly but so rewarding at first its little restaurants, shops, and galleries then comes the encounter with l "architecture in a dedal of little stony and narrow alleys and this until" at the foot of the ruins of the Castle has you to discover this charming walk
