  • An architectural wonder built by the Romans and still going strong for more than 20 centuries. Also a strategic point since for a long time, the only point of passage to the ways of the North of the France.

  • The Roman bridge at Vaison connects the Centre Ville with the medieval part of Vaison, located on a hill. In the leisurely stroll suddenly one is up near the Castle and has a great view of the surrounding area. The bridge is at the narrowest point built. The rocks rise high on one side the other side begins immediately the Centre Ville... Everything is very tight. Cars can drive well over the bridge. She seems very stable. Below the Gorge flows the Ouvèze. In the 1990s, the bridge survived the flood of the century. So Vaison la Romaine itself worth a visit the bridge.

  • Beautiful Roman bridge which joined the old town of vaison romaine. Beautiful but little animation in the city of restaurants with stunning views.

  • Very beautiful Romanesque bridge. Unbelievable that this bridge after centuries still stands and is in use.
