  • Located in the centre, but easy to reach on foot. A visit to a beautiful garden in themes. A must see if you love nature.

  • I wanted to visit this site for some time and I took advantage of the heritage days to go. I admit that I am glad not to be there to go ahead, not not have paid the price of admission for this visit. The medieval garden is not bad. Probably interesting for lovers of plants, which is not my case. I still found that there were some clutter right and left which marred the aesthetics of the place, it's a shame! As for the buildings, I not been impressed either. Parts of the Castle are primarily used as showrooms for artists, and I was no more. I would have preferred that the building be more highlighted, rather than works of art. I'd visit a castle, not an art gallery! The 2nd part of the Castle seemed more interesting, as more focused on the historical and architectural heritage. But the visit is all same short (3-4 pieces) and limited interest. I think the site could be much better spent! The view at the top of the tower is still nice and worth a visit. It is not Uzès that angle otherwise. I expected really better than that. At least, I visited it and I'm passing by: "this is what we're going to visit it today?

  • Garden which is pretty Mediterranean that really medieval but summer has very very dry and many plants had suffered; However welcome and free it was the heritage days; the two towers are to be discovered with the graffiti of prisoners

  • This is a relatively small walled garden the heart of Uzès. There are a remarkable variety of plants each labeled. If you are completely disinterested in plants, adding the tower only costs 1.50 € more and the view is worth the climb. After our self guided tour, we were served a refreshing cold herbal tea, which we enjoyed in the welcome shade.
  • Quite a small garden. The tower has fantastic views (quite a climb though). Only with the ticket price if you go up the tower.
  • Great views from the tower, but the garden could do with weeding and some water.
  • An interesting place to learn about how people lived in the past.
  • Tucked away in the middle of this wonderful medieval town, this garden is quiet, secluded and beautifully simple. It represents an amazing restoration effort, and any visitor with an interest in gardening should have a look.
