  • A very nice place that is worth trying. We were impressed by the torture room, by the castle which can be visited by following the evolution of its creation. The view is breathtaking. It should be noted that it is extremely difficult to access for people with disabilities to walk because the castle is a troglodyte Castle so we're following the rock so much in length than in height.

  • A beautiful castle featuring each piece at the time, it is not expected to be in as good condition! An exhibition on torture, more disturbing by the fact that the man could invent such processes... But you have to know history to not repeat.

  • We visited the strong House of Reignac early November and it was fantastic. We were alone to travel back in time! Finally only not quite since the places cat accompanied us! This place is as still inhabited by our ancestors. Chimney fires, the ingredients to prepare dining... The place is amazing and beautifully to save. The visit is completely free and no restriction on the level of the time. Explanatory panels complete this great picture. Once at the top of the building, a panoramic view of the black Périgord. At the end of the visit, the less sensitive can dive in a room reserved for different forms of torture practised at the time with explanations and pictures. How human brains have they could invent such horrors slots. As often a gift shop will be closed these 2 hours of happiness. In conclusion, a great family moment, informative and unique. We recommend 100% this magnificent place.
