  • Nice resort on the flowery coast, Trouville is above all a renowned fishing port or 30 trawlers are the riches of the sea coming supply every day the stalls of fishmongers present in a sumptuous Hall which was rebuilt to authentic after two violent fires in 2006 and 2008. The stalls are sublime and you can discover exceptional products. Soles, turbot, mackerel, whiting, rays, crustaceans and dry (oil cakes, scallops, whelks, cockles, clams, lobster) compete in freshness. Spaces were laid out in front of some shops where you can enjoy a beautiful tray of seafood or a soup made with grey shrimp Trouville, the conger and... for a reasonable price. Summers (from 17:00 to 19:00) for the premises and connoisseurs "buying the fish to her lands" on the docks of the port, behind the fish market, remains a tradition. Five fishermen unpack the catch of the day. Mackerel, turbot or blanks come fill the stalls. The prices are very interesting and then there is the incomparable freshness of fish "who has not seen the ice". Finally there is the folklore and especially her landed when the boats return to port and unpack their catch of the day. This place is much more than a market. It is also a breath of sea air. The atmosphere is very nice. A great moment of pleasure. Enjoy endless...

  • I went to the closing time. Next to the Deauville, yet folksy and cheap seafood. Great satisfaction in prifsse and I love oysters. Lobster Bisque is delicious!

  • The fish market of Trouville is really interesting. Is located 300 meters from the Casino, and besides vender good fish at attractive prices, it is possible to taste, for 10/12 €, a dozen oysters served with lemon and accompanied by a glass of sweet white wine. To do if you go to Trouville.

  • A surprise discovery while on vacation in Honfleur. This fish market has excellent selection of fresh seafood and shellfish. Raw oysters here are fantasticly fresh and tasty. We had one dozen of the best oysters from Utah Beach here for 16 EUR. They are plumb, no fibre, and sweet with the taste of the sea. The bulots we bought here and boil in the evening are out of this world. The shrimps are also fresh and tasty. We plan to come back here for a longer stay to enjoy the seafood of Normandy.
  • There is a small market where you can purchase seafood. including oysters. You can also buy a bottle of wine and, standing behind a specially dedicated tables, all this beauty of taste.
