  • The advantage to be preceded by a guide to visit all of the these facilities perfectly reconstituted within the tile up to the galleries, mining is to plunge more than 100 years back with all the explanations for this lost trade. And thanks to the guide that is passionate about the story at this time.

  • A warm welcome the person who will give you your ticket very familiar with its subject it to a nice control of the history of the mine in Provence. There are two floors of visit where the small and large can address exposures related and useful for the rest of the tour. Then you will be called to the room lamps and you will start your journey into the mine. Of course, this is a reconstituted Gallery, but it is very well done. We quickly forget the artificial scenery with all the accessories which are real and which served to minors. The person who will make the tour even more help you get into the game, it's very professional, with a smile and passion. I recommend the visit for children from 8 to 10 years. Perfect for a rainy day where a great hot day the Museum is air conditioned. This visit to something moving, we feel that the memory of the mine and the miners will be saved. One last thing the price is more than reasonable € 6. You can join this tour of the Valley of the not easy to find Caramy, but you can have a picnic at the edge of this pretty little river. It's very wild, calm and beautiful. You're here in the heart of green Provence.

  • The visit is both interesting and informative on minerals or exploitation of Bauxite and hard work that it was at the time. I was particularly touched that my grandfather had worked. The visit of the reconstituted Gallery is fine. Hospitality and the guides are very friendly.

  • Interesting exhibition on the life of the miners of Colombia. We learn also what was the daily life of the french miners until the mining stopped.

  • The conversion of an old wine cellar in a dummy bauxite mine. Nice job of staging. I enjoyed the descent by elevator to the bottom of the mine, it is well simulated.
