  • The large park in the centre of tours, very quick to access by the place plumereau. located near the hospital. very green, with lots of animals. Including a space in circles, open to the public, close small animals, such as goats and donkeys, chickens are liberties with the cages of birds that are attached. There used also in this park a bear. There is also a swing space, and a play area.

  • Place attractive especially for young kids, but enjoyable for all. Children can mix with a few animals and adults observe various trees and flowering plants. A nice ride for the family.

  • On a cold winter day, we discovered the Botanical Garden of Tours on the occasion of a green Sunday. Green Sunday are with or without a visit, free lectures, held each month on various topics of Botany. This month, the lecturer, Professor at the Faculty of Tours, made us a fascinating presentation on the life cycle of the vine and work of the winemaker. Then, crossing of the Botanical Garden, its arboretum, Garden of medicinal plants... was I admit, abbreviated by the cold. Promised, we will be back, and also for greenhouses. Finally, many things are offered to children.

  • Really awesome place to take a walk, the gardens are well maintained with different areas to explore. I am not a fan of caged animals, so for me this was not a major attraction. The greenhouse however was something I very much enjoyed with the three sections imitating tropical, subtropical and arid regions around the world.
  • Beautiful garden but quite far from the main shopping area and restaurants
  • Very beautiful and calm botanical garden. The southern part has animals like turtles, birds, small goats, greater flamingos, a pig... There are fountains and ponds, squirrels running around, small rivers and fishes. The greenhouse has beautiful flowers and tropical plants. The rest of the garden is really good for having a walk, relaxin, reading a book, lie on the grass, having a family picnic. And the gingko biloba close to the main entrance is majestic.
  • Great, a little small to run. But very nice for a stroll. Plants and animals. Games for kids too.

  • Nice to visit and quiet green space despite the city life. The different species of animals and space games to have a good time with your family. Another advantage is the large number of bench and table for rest.
