Hotel Dieu - Museum Greuze Reviews

Superbe découverte que le lieu de l'Hôtel Dieu et ses 3 salles avec les lits des malades (femmes, hommes, soldats) d'où ils pouvaient assister à la messe. Knowing Beaune which is inside the same style, I find that Tournus, more modest in appearance on the outside than the best-known. The apothecary is remarkably well preserved, can also be seen that of the House of charity, who was transferred in these places. I recommend the audio guide that allows to have comments very enlightened on these places. Continue the visit by the museum dedicated in part to jean-Baptiste Greuze and his drawings but also paintings, sculptures and archaeology.

It is strange to think that at the time, we cared as much for the temporal needs of man (body) of its eternal needs (the soul): what remains of today? Nice little thing, unfortunately... What a lesson, at least! Then the Greuze museum dedicated to fine arts allowed me to discover this artist (Jean-Baptiste Greuze) I didn't know; and finally, it was given to me to learn that a Gallo-Roman civilization lived once on the left bank of the Saône. Different objects exposed in the showcases, emerges a certainty: between utility and futility, this civilization was not so different from us, in the end!
Willi LuntzerJune 3, 2017A historical hospital that was still in the 60s of the last century in operation. The hospital chapels are built into the Krankensälen. Richly equipped pharmacy with its own herb garden is the best preserved of its kind in France. Worth seeing is the Museum of fine arts. Note that the plant makes lunch and closes between 13 and 14: 00.
DCLN19March 22, 2017It's a return 50 years back! It's impressive to see all the beds on the sides in large rooms.
