  • This museum is based on the personal collection of Georges Labit, merchant and Traveler, passionate about Asia. The collection is enriched of course regularly since. Another singularity, the Museum is installed in a vast House of Moorish inspiration that Labit did build in his lifetime in a large park... to make a museum. Very beautiful collections originating from Asia to Southeast, of China, the Japan and Egypt. Beautiful Japanese prints (non-erotic) have joined the Fund. It's small enough, allow one to two hours.

  • If you like the original places in unusual history, come in this location not far from the port Saint Sauveur in Toulouse. It is to see at least once. The sheltered collection is at the height of what was its creator

  • A historical collection, Egyptian and Asian, mummies, papirus, amulets, funebres rituals, knowing the civilization and Japanese culture, objects and drawings brought by Georges Labit

  • The 2nd best museum in Toulouse. NOT to miss. Mesmerizing architecture and beautiful garden in the background. Alongside amazing items from Japan and China and an actual MOMMY from Egypt. Best to visit on a sunny day cause you go straight out to the gorgeous Canal du Midi and the Port Saint Sauveur.

  • I went there for the first Sunday of October (the museums are free 1st Sunday of the month), it was very friendly. The building is pretty, pretty small, but I really liked that there was exposed, which are Asian Antiquities and Egyptian (there is even a Mummy!) Missing according to me more explanation on some antiquities (having available online for example, an audio file deepening each ancient history would be interesting) to recommend for people who want to do a tour of Museum pretty quick but interesting.
