Art schools represented include Lyrical Abstraction, Abstract Expressionism, Art Brut, Informal Art, Japanese Gutai, Arte Povera, Spatialism, and Trans Avant Garde. The most emblematic work on display is "La dépouille de Minotaure en costume d’Arlequin,” conceived by Luis Fernandez and Pablo Picasso in 1936. If you want to see this particular piece, call ahead; it’s only shown six months of the year, due to its fragility. Old barn of the slaughterhouse of Toulouse (hence the name in French) as a gallery and Museum. This space is a paper target for several samples, which given the Court of "contemporary art" may or may not like the exhibition itself, however, the magic of the building is divided into two: 1, the architecture of the precinct, sober, solid and well articulated, 2. the big picture of Pablo Picasso to the Fund the Gallery "the remains of the Minotaur in a Harlequin suit" that already if only it is worth visiting the place. In a complementary manner, is a center of assistance to visitors and a very good library next to the entrance, to buy past exhibition catalogues or history of the city. The Museum on the exterior, integrates efficiently, corridors and gardens for coexistence of all ages, which also serve as exhibition space. Great place to visit.

Simple local modern art museum, built in old slaughterhouses building. The place is lovely, it can be worth the visit depending on the temporary exhibition.
