Cite de l'espace, Toulouse

3.7
#1 of 59 in Childrens Museums in France
A theme park focused on space and our conquests in it, Cite de l'espace is an immensely popular museum filled with interactive exhibits for the whole family. Children and space enthusiasts enjoy the full-scale models, including the 55 m (180 ft) Ariane 5 rocket, the Mir space station, and the Soyuz modules. A control room mock-up allows you to prepare a rocket for launch, assisting with its flight plan and then placing a satellite into orbit. Be sure to visit the Australia building, with its 300-seat IMAX cinema and a 280-seat planetarium equipped with a hemispherical 600 sq m (6,458 sq ft) screen. Put Cite de l'espace into our Toulouse trip itinerary planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

Come with your family. The concept is cool and fun too expensive for what is offered. Two movies, three animations and that's. In addition, while I am myself Toulouse, sorry but frankly hospitality sucks. A Hello, a smile. 20 minutes from tail to hope both coke and two bottles of water. Finally nothing because the movie session started the I - Max. 45 minute wait for a pretend travel weightless, as if two or three seats were not feasible. Trade and welcome people it is a professional job. As it is claimed to offer a quality must be commitment. Recruit people who love what they do. Very disappointed

Very disappointed in the whole Park. One building caught our attention: the Astralia which houses the cinema 3D, the planetarium and exhibition area. The rest is anecdotal or reserved for insiders... I do, I will not repeat.

A nice place to visit with family or with friends. Great exhibitions on space and regular events during the week with researchers, engineers, space fans... A good experience for locals and tourists.
