Church of Les Jacobins, Toulouse

(4.6/5 based on 950+ reviews on the web)
Housed in an entirely brick building built in the 13th century, Church of Les Jacobins has a massive, even austere exterior that contrasts with its extraordinarily light-filled interior. Inside the palm, 22 ribs support the choir of this Southern Gothic church. The cloister, sanctuary, chapter house, and chapel contain original relics of St. Thomas Aquinas, in all their restored glory. The cloister hosts cultural events such as festivals and concerts, and you’ll find temporary exhibitions in the former convent refectory. • Beautiful and relaxing place. Gem of religious architecture. Majestic columns and beautiful stained glass windows. You can visit only the Church, free entry but also go round of the cloister, haven of peace, beautiful him also.

  • paradox that this church because few know it houses the relics of saint thomas Aquinas, the eyes are raised to heaven to see the most beautiful and unique Palm tree of this size in the world of Christendom. And then the cloister, universe so close and so different, paradise of the photographer to capture the beauty of the church tower behind the Cypress, or to hear the summer evening in Toulouse heat a piano concert if we have the chance to be at the appointment, what happened to me this year, unforgettable moment where the music is sublime

  • Back from jogging, we went to the Church of the Jacobins. A splendour! The pillars are supported by arches in Palm trees, unique I think. A jewel of Gothic art Languedoc can't miss.
