Inspirock Rating:
1.9/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web
For a glimpse at ancient cave drawings, visit Le Thot. This prehistoric theme park works well as a companion trip to nearby caves, providing more information and special reproductions of some of the area's ancient art. The site also boasts an animal park, featuring special breeds similar to those that roamed the earth with our ancestors. It's especially fun for children. Put Le Thot and other Thonac attractions into our Thonac family vacation planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • A great Park! A site rich and exciting. We'd like to see bears and wolves. And a course in the forest at the heart of this beautiful landscape... The staff were amazing! Ideal for a great family day!

  • If the Zoo is not exceptional it is true, however the small museum is friendly, and especially I recommend the workshops, I regret not to have foreseen that a (size of flint): host passionate and exciting, the child and adults loved.

  • Waste of time and does not add anything to the Lascaux II experience.
  • Awesome, the little movie in 3D made aware and virtual reality with extinct animals is great for children

  • The Museum is well made. This lack of explanation. We have not tested the workshops because in addition to cost base already high. The new attraction of enhanced reality is not worth visiting (watch the video on YouTube you will have seen everything), presentation of 2 animals: the Hyena and a mammoth. At the level of the animation, it lacked running a sound recording would have been better. External lack of maintenance including the mammoth. In summary, outside the Museum with the representation of the Booger with lighting different this is not worth the detour at the sight of the price to pay.

  • Big problem of parking the parking spaces are low in mid-season (April holidays). The parking is quickly anarchic and we found ourselves blocked between 2 vehicles. For the rest the site offers some beautiful presentations in the Museum. The zoo is poorest. It is worth with children ticket combined with Lascaux.

  • We return from Dordogne, where visiting the sites of Lascaux we was very interested. We received a very nice welcome to the Thoth, so we were only three people and already well advanced matinee. We definitely want to congratulate the fabulous guide from this place, that makes us share his knowledge with simplicity and competence. We can only recommend to start with this place in order to understand and appreciate the second site. Thanks again. The Costarmoricains of passage.
