  • This visit/walk is part of the "highlights" of Thiers... She is 2 steps from the city centre and allows to understand the history of the city.

  • Walk to the place, pretty athletic when even, to be shaped for down and up the Valley where the river beautiful Durolle, beside which the "grinders" moved to take advantage of the force of the water to spin the "wheels" are the millstones in the past, the guide has made us extremely interesting this journey in the past since there is a spinning wheel in one function remains tens of old spinning wheel! where we realize the hardness of work in ancient times truly exceptional visit 2 h mini

  • Very nice walk, 2 easy courses to do with children (mine have 5-9 years). It follows the path at the edge of the water looking for the old mills, in the shade. Even without a guide, you get information with a leaflet given by the host. The 1st course is a loop, and for the second, longer and a little harder for the little ones, we have the possibility in the high season to take the shuttle which is free. (Information at the level of hospitality). I highly recommend this nice ballad. Very beautiful scenery. My children have enjoyed.
