The Museum is divided into 2 places: one with the different showrooms where you can choose between a visit guided and unguided. I Council still tour that brings clarification. The second part of the Museum is located a few meters down. It is there that one can see different demonstrations of the manufacturing of a knife. There is also another part of exposure. As in the image of other museums, children on the right to a booklet to be completed along the visit between the two parties. If the booklet is full at the end, the child the right to a reward. I Council this museum to all lovers of cutlery and same to others wishing to learn more in this area.

We had a good time, the guides are exciting and perfectly accompany the visit. There is a little game for children that really interested them. They were just disappointed by the surprise at the end of the game...

We visited the Museum with my knives passionate husband and our two children 2 to 6 years. The Museum is in 2 parts, in the order that n is not specified in all the books. The first exhibition of knife with the possibility to follow a guide on the history of cutlery, viewing d a film at the end of the visit. This part is very long for children at a young age. If my husband was able to follow the guided tour I quickly ended up in the film room explaining the stages of creation of the knife which has allowed to channel children. We did the 2nd left after eating. The tour begins with a set of sound and light that may scare young children (cellars in the dark with the sound of the machines and cavernous voice-over) but that they liked. Then 2 workshops d explanation and demonstration of some stages of creation of the knife. Very interesting. The guides are adorable, l listen to, respond to questions and enthusiasts. The children loved this part and well followed the demonstrations. The Museum then ends by visiting collection of knives and then by the shop. See at least once

Very interesting to know the history of the production of knives in Thiers. How this industry is implemented and how we worked and allowing the city to be a must. The Cutlers are working within the Museum to explain and show the working methods. Only downside, I then loved a little more explanation on the most modern methods.
