Ferdinand Foch, sixth of seven siblings, lived here, in a middle-class family whose father was a collector of his birth (1851) at the age of twelve years. Inside: collections gathering memories of Marshal or his family, tracing his personal itinerary, his career and his public life as a Marshal of France. A room is devoted to the recognition of allied countries. Notice the beautiful carved wooden staircase, imitating the ironwork of the 17th century. The House is situated not far from the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Sede, in the historic centre of the city and the streets of victory, which should delight, wherever he is, the Generalissimo disappeared in 1929.
