Garden
Slender rooftops rise above the plains at Chateau of Talcy, a smaller 16th century farmland château with a history marked by the works of poets, including D'Aubigné. Come to admire the intimate dining room, lovely walled gardens featuring an orchard, as well as original 18th century interiors with many original decorations. The wells, outhouse buildings, the dovecote, and the apple press all emphasize the rural environment of the estate. • Little castle in the little-known campaign but that is truly worth a visit. Simple, far very tourist castles such as Chambord but well furnished rooms and almost all of the castle is open to the public

  • A little north of the great castles of the Loire, Ottawa is a discreet gem on the Beauce plain. The old building has kept a furniture two centuries ago, well preserved and highlighted; nice tour of the ancillary buildings (pigeon and winepress) and gardens (orchard and vegetable garden). A halt for an hour very nice before going down to the edge of the Loire and Chambord.

  • Unknown and yet to visit for its furniture (everything is soft), its architecture and its relationship to the history of France

  • Castle with lunch, is not at all! We have looked at like it, but wait two hours in as a cow town.
