  • Beautiful restored Castle. The hearing aid guide is very well done. There is almost no furniture but an enological exhibition complete the visit. The detour is necessary.

  • Visits of castles for us means: history of their successive owners (and their lives); history of architectural progression through wars, disputes and other conflicts; admiration of each room or via furniture, fabrics and all other items including dishes... In short, we hope an emotion arousing our fertile imagination in view of various periods concerned. However, that remember our visit last summer of this building of Suze-la-Rousse, huge, and beautiful even so exciting (to the outside)? One or two rooms hardly decorated to era, offering numerous objects and interesting patterns, but coldly present, mostly under glass. The long series of following parts is devoted to a museum honoring the history of the wine, what we don't do in this place! Hello, the history of the castle to which we aspired by organizing our step! We use to do a regional document for St. Paul-three-castles, evoking "the promise of emotions moments". In all cases, ridiculous or even false promise to our eyes as for the castle of Suze - redhead! In addition, many walls, instead of being restored from the era, as well as probably a beautiful wooden door, were simply cleared quickly. The other, the high walls surrounding the access stairs are also poorly backed up (looks like a theatre set!), and a market of these stairs, broken in one place has purely been cobbled together to bites it me - the node! True lovers of castles, a Council: abstain! Memory for us well no one so totally opposite to that we posed the visit the year before, or even grandiose impressive castle of Grignan, which each of the very many pieces imbued us from end to end of wonder and emotion expected, through the character of Madame de Sévigné Augustus!
