  • Not to be missed if you're in the area: beautiful well furnished and decorated, guided tour very well thought out. Special mention to the room under the roof where you can admire the original framing. Castle heated, which makes the visit more enjoyable and allows to take all of his time. Shop well stocked with products including child pr and quality books. It's too bad that there only a guided tour in the afternoon and nothing in the morning.

  • Do not make the trip but if you're in the area, must see! Very nice, well preserved!

  • In view of the offer of castles to visit in the Loire Valley, I regret that that this is not more ambitious and competitive/attractive. Pretty Castle, well furnished, the visit is clear and nice but missing a thread, a "theme" to the visit, under penalty of having forgotten him in 1 month. There are the castle of perfumes, spray guns, puzzles etc... which brings the added value and draws crowds. Here for €8 the entry (although it is funded by taxes), we learn not big things and almost boring. We thought it was open until 6 pm, but they didn't, it was 5:30 and during half of the visit an employee came close the doors behind us to rush us. Not very pleasant.

  • Great spot for a picnic. Free parking, beach on the river, plenty of grass lawn. Your choice. You can also pay to go inside the grounds and castle if you like. We stop there in route to eat, stretch, play, and relax for a bit. Gift shop and toilets accessible without paying admission.
  • Beautiful castle. We really enjoyed touring the grounds. There were even a pair of otters in the moat! Definitely a must-see.
  • Nice castle but it is a bit empty inside. Where are all the artifacts? The walk around 'la Sange' is very nice. Recommended overall.
  • Beautiful place in lovely grounds. A must visit.
  • Smart chateau, good tour allows understanding of the history and how it was built up over the centuries.
