Saint Paul de Vence Cemetery, St-Paul-de-Vence

(4.6/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
Saint Paul de Vence Cemetery is among the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, well known for its modern and contemporary art museums and galleries, such as Fondation Maeght. This spot inspired many French artists, including Marc Chagall and more recently Bernard-Henri Lévy and Arielle Dombasle. The town's olive oil mill was historically the source of much of its prosperity. Visit the Esperon Tower, the Dauphin and Royal Bastions, and the medieval town walls, all of which once protected the town. • Very pretty village. Very quiet in this season, but a few shops are open with a lot of art galleries. Views on the Mediterranean Sea and the snowy peaks of the Alps of haute Provence. Compulsory visit in this.

  • Public bus an hour from Nice ... Transportation is also expensive and there are many different galleries and design products to HEA ... In particular, hand-made products, such as leather, a variety of jams, tourism can be an appropriate price shopping may ... Despite the old buildings and the old town very clean and more astonishing.
