  • High above the noise and bustle lies this little art Mecca on its hilltop location with views over the surrounding landscapes. As a Dane thinking immediately-little Louisiana! Here are presented for a large number of the same artists and we are experiencing buildings which in the same way add themselves into the landscape and give the viewer a sense of timelessness. Here is a time for contemplation. Here is room for dreams. Here be surprised you and here you go off with a deep satisfaction. Are you into contemporary art so must your way definitely past the Fondation Maeght.

  • Foundation very well maintained beautiful sculptures of Giacometti, Miró, Chagall... But I regretted the lack of tables. Exhibition of Christo interesting but that has not touched me.

  • Surprising little variation of artists on display, at the time I went the whole place was mainly dedicated to a couple of artists. Impressive location and buildings.
  • Very interesting museum in great setting and facinating architecture. A little expensive considering the size, but very recomendable.
  • Beautiful buildings and gardens. Some memorable pieces. Quite expensive at 15 euros. Not the biggest collection but due to expand in the future. Definitely not wheelchair or pushchair friendly. The small café was closed all day for a private function.
  • Fond memories of the Merce Cunningham Dancers performing among the Giocometti sculptures when I was young.
  • Amazing place!!!
