Paloma Beach, St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

4.1
#3 of 7 in Things to do in St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
A quiet beach far from the crowd of other private French Riviera beaches, Paloma Beach attracts those who like a slower pace. The atmosphere seems to rip a page out of the 1950s, with available chilled drinks and seafood. A lifeguard watches over swimmers. You can use the beach's boating service if you'd like to explore the water further. The perfect place for relaxing! A very pleasant restaurant and a wonderful landscape! 10 min walk to the center of the village!

So we pitched up late for our noon lunch reservation and for the second time on this trip we were greeted with the words " we can't find your reservation" which was frustating and perplexing ( see rev...  more »

It is a spectacular beach. That take into account take the crabeater seals because it is full of stones. We arrived about 10 and there was no place in the car park. But they almost did us a favor, find parking nearby, much cheaper. On the beach there is a restaurant, but we do not visit it, so I can not comment.

Upmarket, yes. Excellent, yes! We had a great day at this private beach. Food and service was much better then expected. Probably 100 chairs with umbrellas lined up in 3 rows, stone beach, jetty where boat ferries ppl from the boats out in the bay, lots of trendy folk, kids-friendly, resturant behind was buzzing all day, €58 for a double couch and umbrella is a bit rich but seems standard in these areas, risotto with truffle + goats cheese salad €45, cocktails €12 each.

Very nice beach with an amazing view of mountains behind. If you want to have chairs on the beach you have to reserve before. The restaurant is really nice and the food is amazing! The staff is very attentive as well. Don't forget to bring water shoes because of the rocks

Absolute gem. Food and drinks aren't cheap, but view and relaxation are well worth it. Pictures don't do the views any justice. Fish is deliciously prepared.

Nice beach. Good drinks and meals. Beautiful view with great walkway around the headland.

The place is really nice but the food is OK - do not order the frito mixto, it is not nice. We took forever to get a table, they put the "special guests" before everyone that is waiting on the list. Did not worth waiting for almost 2 hours for a table.
