  • Was very good to have never seen a picture of Maurice Denis. Mood around the House too often walk partly acces. On the way to lunch in a bistro? Museum pass can be used, so from the heart of Paris, half-day trips too look at!

  • In places where lived Maurice Denis, a museum that restores the spirit of this painter, his search for a religious painting of a new style and its attachment to the colours measured, creating a serene mood.

  • A most beautiful encounter. One of my favourite artists. It's not too much to handle either (you won't get gallery/museum fatigue). Lots of Denis' art, and a small amount of some of the other Nabis. The chapel Denis renovated with his friends in honour of his late wife Marthe is very special, in particular the Stations of the Cross he painted, and the frescoes depicting those who have epitomised each of the Beatitudes.
  • Great discovery! Maurice Denis WINS to be again recognized. His Museum is great both in the works exhibited by the unique place! Free the first Sunday of the month, but otherwise worth its price.
