Trip Planner: Europe / France / Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur / French Riviera - Cote d'Azur / Six-Fours-les-Plages / Nature / Iles des Embiez
Only 12 minutes away by ferry from the port of Le Brusc, the tiny Iles des Embiez is often called a little piece of paradise. Six km (3.7 mi) of coastline wrap around the .9 sq km (.35 sq mi) island, striped with several wild creeks where you can swim in crystal clear water. Divers especially can enjoy the sea depths, while others can sunbathe on the beaches, play tennis, visit the museum-aquarium, hike in the forest, or wander through a vineyard. The island, which has strict environmental protections, features a couple of hotels and a handful of restaurants. Put Iles des Embiez into our Six-Fours-les-Plages vacation trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

Nous habitons pas loin et nous nous sommes décidé à passer de l autre côté de l'île du Gaou. Cela a un coût: 15 € l'adulte et 11 l'enfant. Traversée du Brusc a l'île : 10 minutes. Opportunity to take his bike: 8 euros extra. It is true that it is a little expensive... The island is sublime is the side South very preserved and full of history. Biodiversity is remarkable. The landscape and the few worthy of the French Riviera beaches. The North is more "civilized". There are apartments hotels, restaurants a bakery (only of sugar) and a small casino (closed Monday). Note: an ATM on-site. Attention, or season all the restaurants are not open. Think of reserving your table (with Charles open: dish of the 15th day). Ditto for the tourist office. For the ride a coastal path runs along the coast. A road also for strollers ;) The marine Tower is accessible by a small climb. Schedule shuttle on the site.View original

The walk around the island was Fantastic, beautiful views and and a great hike! The no cars rule made it really peaceful, would recommend!
Incredible little find. Went there by accident, as I could not find a parking when trying to get to some other, more familiar nearby island. Almost private beaches, free concert at main square, great food in local restaurants.
Gary DamemeBeautiful setting, friendly apartments. Staff welcoming and competentView original
Nicolas WatrigantA beautiful island just because she could be preserved untimely tourism. Fortunately only the shuttle allows d go. Many natural beaches, those who prefer the sandy beaches and n like discover the fish in algae prefer d other places. A team that seeks to put themselves at the service of everyone. Very reasonable prices for what is offered and locationView original
Franck GarelliVery nice to stroll with your family / friends. Two stars and less for its "private" and accessible only by boat (paid =) side. Ban to go through from its neighbouring island (yet accessible without swim)View original
