  • The Citadel allows a point of view on the village and its surroundings very interesting. Unfortunately it is not open in winter, you can just walk around. The mounted is not too complicated and the view from the top is worth.

  • Arrived at Sisteron we learn the temporary closure of the site by the tourist office. But nothing is noted on the Web site of the Citadel... Cool qd is not moving for nothing! A website that keeps itself updated!

  • Offering great views up and down the valley and of the town of Sisteron. The main attraction is the fortification itself. You get impressive access to most of the site. There isn't a large amount of other things to see inside, a few old photos and paints of the town and citadel over the years.
  • I have already visited a lot of these sort of monumental places but this one is a stunning site. Breathtaking views!!!
  • Its a pretty steep climb, but worth it! Great views on top of a grand history lesson.
  • Extremely good views over the landscape in both directions, north and south. Nothing much to see within the walls.
  • Picturesque and panoramique.
