Chateau de Severac Reviews
Septembre 2017. Le château est fermé à la visite. Nous le savions, pas de déception donc. Par contre le village est "ouvert", bien sûr et vraiment magnifique à visiter. However the village is 'open', of course, and really beautiful to visit. Wander the narrow streets, admire the facades, take medieval windows and the doors photos, soak up the scene and believe the medium age. It is the quiet reverie. The streets and houses are neat. Everything is beautiful. We can dive fuck under the castle in a flower garden open to the public. It has two picnic tables and the view is on the roofs of the village and the beautiful surrounding countryside. We have tasted the sweetness of the rays of Sun of the AOS. Summer season than this month September to visit this beautiful village. However the restaurant 'The trade' we strongly disappointed. The restaurant of the station (A station of course) is apparently much cheaper and much better. Confirmed.
Le chateau est fermé un dimanche de septembre, contrairement à ce qui est précisé sur le site de l'OT (visite libre). On ne peut que rentrer dans la cour, on a accès à aucune salle. It has a feel of total abandonment of the site
Chateau superbe en dehors , malheureusement fermer lors de notre passage mais certainement à voir car dans un superbe endroit more »Superb castle outside, unfortunately close during our visit but certainly to do because in a great location
Nothing that the old medieval village is worth a visit. There are free car parks for parking at the entrance of the village. The guided tour of the Castle lasts about 1 h, it is very interesting, the guides are costumed and involve visitors. Although a large part either in ruins, guides bring to life the soul of the Castle. the view is superb. a good time to share with family.
Beautiful castle ruin which is currently partially renovated. The car park is "on the doorstep", so that is not a laborious climb needed. The view is fantastic. A worthwhile excursion and picnic place not far from the motorway exit.
A castle sublime thanks to a reconstitution, stone after stone. Overlooking the Village of Severac le Château also superb. A real good in the middle age with explanations along the way to the Castle (stone wall with traces of sharpening of the Cutler d time) missing more than an ox and a chariot of straw 😀 to complete the decoration.
Very beautiful medieval village. Quiet. Worth a visit.
A castle among the most important of the Rouergue. Sanchez also has its medieval city and its sesteyral (medieval grain market)
