  • Upon entering the building we had no idea of the treasures that we would find there. The part of prehistoric and Gallo-Roman is incredible to believe that as soon as you dig in sense you find important vestiges! The treasure of the Cathedral is also essential. Interesting, but perhaps less well highlighted the latest collections with sculptures by Rodin and Flemish paintings. However I regretted not having been able to visit the Synodal Palace and its dungeons. At the rear of the Museum, don't hesitate to wander in the garden of the Orangerie with its parterres of little known plants and its exhibitions of contemporary art.

  • A museum... Most of the Sens do not know and well they are wrong... The Gallo-Roman collections are among the most beautiful in France, but that's not all... Modern collections are very beautiful (see on the top floor); in particular the donation of Marrey family who brought ceramics Mayodon, the ironworker Raymond Subes, a magnificent Rodin and works of the Flemish paintings of foreground (Brueghel velvet including!). A beautiful Museum, in an ideal setting... A must see if you're in the area. At the entrance you will find a store with casts of the museums of senses, one of the best workshops in this area in France (the Louvre they are given work of reproduction) free on Sunday.

  • Excellent Museum, which hides more than what he leaves appear, the Gallo-Roman section and medieval and very interesting.

  • For a Museum in a small town, I think that it worth the look. The better it must be with a guided tour because I have already done the trick several times alone but this is not as pleasant as a guide.
