Le Cadre Noir, Saumur

(4.4/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
A renowned equestrian display team, Le Cadre Noir began in 1828 as part of the French calvary division. The team evolved into a training school that carries on the traditions of the Cadre Noir. Although cavalry are now outdated in the military, the school today preserves the skills of these riders as examples of exemplary French horsemanship. At a demonstration, you’ll see the extraordinary builds of Arabian horses in formation, topped with their masters in formidable military uniforms. • That's what prevails in places dedicated to the horse! We were able to attend training in the large riding school... Walk to not bow coubrade calm and respect for the horse. We even could see the Olympic champion Thibault Valletta to train with a Squire. The stables saddlery always too quiet and clean! The horses are pampered they even the right to a private solarium... And we also attend the meal of horses to the excellent timing. Our guide Marie is on us to discover this world. Thank you. I you Council.

  • Super
  • It was a childhood dream that come true! I think it's a unique place that is worth to be visited. The one hour tour seemed a bit short for me who am a fan. But the guides are friendly and open to all questions as well as a more detailed explanation for beginners. The show was just beautiful and very moving. It's crazy what we can do to a horse.

  • Hello, I am disappointed with the responses by phone for room booking. -children-12 years pay 29 euros (category 3), if you have an infant and the latter must pay... for security reasons...! (- Disabled paid according to handicap them... with disabilities he pay 45 euros instead of 75 euros and tickets only in gold!) long live the promotion... I stopped there for questions, I find their inhuman actions! I am very disappointed!

  • Emblematic place of Saumur, the tour turns out to be very interesting. With a little luck you can fall on a training of riders and enjoy a very beautiful show.
