Cathedrale Saint-Sacerdos, Sarlat-la-Caneda

Admire the different historical periods in the structure of Cathedrale Saint-Sacerdos, a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Sacerdos of Limoges. The saint's bones were taken to the cathedral during the Middle Ages, but have been missing since the wars of religion. Parts of the site date to the 9th century, although most of the building structure was constructed in the 17th century. Because of its Gothic architecture and historical significance, it has been listed as a national historical monument of France. • It is in my opinion one of the places to discover in Sarlat for a full tour; I have benefited from comments from the guide of the tour organized by the OT and it allowed me to measure the interest of the great organ and the construction in it even!
