At the edge of the furious stretch the salt pans. Exploitation of salt has ceased in 1962, but the salt source is always used for the baths. Important all that formed the salines remain today only a few stone buildings, still imposing, as the high chimneys and the store of salts (15th c.). To accommodate the Museum of salt, these old buildings were supplemented by the addition of modern elements (bof), as a 'box' steel. The architect Malcotti-Roussey, chose this metal because it reminds the industrial history of the city. The Museum of the salt is good, but only didactic!
