  • The well preserver arch stands in a large open area very close to the Information Office. The view from virtually direction is excellent even from across the River.  more »

  • We had an enjoyable day exploring Saintes & the arch of Germanicus was awesome to view. Well worth a visit.
  • Germanicus (the triumphal arch) of Holy arc, on the edges of the Charentes and with many inscriptions (in latin). Free and open every day, 24/24 monument then it arises "in the street". One of the remains of the Roman city of Saintes must-see during your stay in Saintes.

  • The location is surprising, but with the banks of the Charente River that has its charm.
