Two thousand years of history at Saintes and... it is still there! What for? It is political will that will be spared him and of course it is the only monument that really reminds the splendor of the city in the first century. Holy had to be loaded at the time gallo-Roman. It's worth to visit majestic massif, who watches over the entrance to the old town.View original

We had an enjoyable day exploring Saintes & the arch of Germanicus was awesome to view. Well worth a visit.
