  • The interest of this castle is on the inside, because everything there was State of the art at the time found in all parts of the Castle, heating, electricity, etc all in perfect condition, the time seems to have stopped here... A real surprise! The Park is absolutely beautiful, on a hot summer day we can find fresh and what picnic.

  • Situated between Arles and Saintes, just before the road that goes to treble-dead. Beware there is a radar section in both directions, the castle is located on the right coming from Arles 12 km before the Holy. By car you enter the Park. In 2003 it was classified as a historical monument and its Park and its dependencies. It belongs to the County Council of the bouches du Rhône, off-season it is prudent to call for opening hours. We can have a tour of the Park and the botanical trail and admire the trees some of which are centuries-old. A brief back to back, the area was acquired in 1866 by Louis Pratt-scallops, negotiating in OM wine. Then he gave the castle its modernity. Because of the proximity of the small Rhône he created the first pumping station and sewage that can be visited today. He endowed the castle to the more modern comfort at this time: hot running water, central heating, electricity, bathrooms, toilets. We can still admire these facilities remained in perfect condition. The castle is still furnished by period furniture evoking the art of living beautiful time. The photos are prohibited inside the Castle! And more outside there are picnic areas and playgrounds for children. I would recommend this visit which will remain a beautiful memory.

  • Superb castle with one of the earliest electrical and water infrastructures from the 17th and 18th centuries. Nowadays you can see those in most cities worldwide! Absolutely worth a visit ... a tour takes about 2h without hesitance. For 4€ entrance you also get an electronical guide. Good translations in several languages.
  • Area closed to the public since October 2015. The general Council (CG13) assumes more his duty as a public service, therefore visits are cancelled. Guarding and maintenance of green spaces when even service was introduced in order to preserve the site visually.

  • Fine example of early twentieth century modernism. Closed year-round now. Photos prohibited inside, got right to the kitchen. Very nice Park, in the middle of the camargue.

  • ATTENTI0N! Castle closed for more than a year... Despite the indication of openness on the Web site, not updated!... Despite all the ponctionnaires from 13... Fortunately I have phoned before going there this weekend. There's two or three people on site for maintenance...
