  • We had a choice among all museums that can be found on the landing beaches and we were not disappointed choice from Utah Beach. Very full, playful, well organized with testimonials, a film with images of time that takes us directly to the heart of the action and we would like to better understand what has happened. Allow 2 hours to experience it all, a lot of material, equipment, objects and uniforms. A must see!

  • This museum is quite overwhelming. The sheer scale of stuff to look at and read is extraordinary. We allowed 2 hours but even after 3 hours we hadn't seen it all - but we were overloaded with informat...  more »
  • Super Museum interesting and playful. Beautiful collection well development, clear explanations and examples of situations. Small movie very well done, explaining clearly and in details the conduct of d-day on Utah beach. Negative point: we have not find parking VL. Disabled parking and camping as well indicated but no indication of the parking to VL.

  • Excellent memorial / museum about Utah beach. I wish Omaha had one too. I would recommend utah beach over Omaha for sure based on everything they offer to commemorate the beach invasion. Museum was 8 euro per person. Wheel chair friendly gift shop Soda and snack machines
  • The history, the symbolism, nature of sacrifice. The museum is nicely put together and is interesting for both children and adults. It does help bring the story of the D Day landings to life. Afterwards, you can wander down to the beach. Well worth the trip. Especially important for children.
  • Very well done museum; one of the best WWII displays in Normandy. The monuments outside the museum are also impressive. The family and others who run this museum are truly dedicated to honoring the soldiers who fought on and near Utah Beach. This is worth going out of your way for.
  • Great little museum, not to touristy. The cafe in front of the museum is a must see if you like your history, one of the best memorials I've ever seen. The tables, walls & bar are covered in hundreds and hundreds of veterans signatures
  • Very informative musuem. Should definetly be on your visit list
