  • the Church is really beautiful and she keeps its charm. It's a Romanesque church which dates back before the renaissance so it is unique

  • The Church Sainte-Engrâce, founded in 1085 by the monks of the Abbey of Leyre (Navarre), was probably with the hospital for pilgrims created at the same time, the nucleus around which the village would develop over the centuries. Romanesque style, the building is developing three naves, closed by a central apse and two apses at the sides, and overcome by a severe square steeple. Inside: under a canopy in cradle, six cruciform pillars separate the nave from the aisles; Notice the capitals historiés; altarpiece of the high altar dedicated to the Virgin and child surrounded by saints evangelists; lateral altarpieces; small statuary; flesh to preach; canopies; many paintings, including a baptism of Christ quite "art deco". murals. In the cemetery, which, according to local tradition, surrounds the Church, many typical discoidales stelae of the Basque country. Namely: Engrâce was a Lusitanian, martyred 300 young, whose worship was born in Zaragoza. To see, really. Classified Historical Monuments by list of 1862.
