  • I'm sadly disappointed in our visit to the factory. We went to please my beautiful mother who dreamed of visiting the company where the needles were manufactured that allowed him to learn sewing. Upon our arrival, the couple in front of us seemed to have heard excellent things about the temporary exhibition. So we decided to get the ticket for the Grand Tour. We are 7 people, 3 adults and 4 children (13, 10, 7 years and 3 months). The stopping at 12 years child rate we pay a little more than €60. What is a sacred holiday budget. And finally, big disappointment. We have seen that 4 workers including one taped packages before us... Little interest. Fortunately these people were so friendly, one of the only highlights of this place. The temporary exhibition were moderately interesting and it seems, judging by what we heard conversations, that the access to the exhibition could be done even though we did not pay the surcharge. I find that unacceptable. If access cannot be controlled, it must make a global ticket so that visitors feel aggrieved. The visit is very long, especially for children it would be nice to think to offer activities throughout the course in order to occupy them. The proposed and paid game booklet is too long especially for the small and poorly thought. The 'cinema' did not work and it was not specified. It is clear that the Museum is accessible to strollers and it's a good thing but said child, says need to change out no plan to changing diapers. I'm disappointed to have paid so much for so little. More hospitality was far from warm. When we decided to work in the trades of hospitality, it is necessary to be smiling. Especially since we have been pleasant until the end, despite our disappointments. Arriving home, we realized that we have are charged a bunch of needles too. It's okay for a few euros but the all combined seems to me too. I do not recommend this place. I would not stay again. I have the impression of having visited a place "tourist".

  • Family stayed in full week visit this industrial Museum. What a pleasure to visit this museum with its employees. A very rich Museum content for a topic as "small" as a needle. Looking forward to returning to discover that nugget around me.

  • I visited 2 times the factory. Once end of April 2016 and a second time in June. My first visit was a real wonder. The site is beautiful and it is almost magical to see the needles being born before our eyes. We had able to graft to a group and benefit from the commentary to visit. The girl at the reception had proposed us and it was a nice touch. The Museum part is superb, may be a bit too long but it goes well. Once back at the shop, the same girl had advised us perfectly. No not hesitating to get products of the brand is not usually sold in the shop. She had even made sure of our satisfaction. It is therefore with great joy that I decided to bring my friends that a few weeks ago and there, big disappointment... The three people present at our arrival was not smiling, one of them was installed on the reception desk with his computer, I don't find it very welcoming, and she barely said hello. After our visit, one of the young women did not tell us where Nogent scissors were made. In Nogent but we don't know which. Surprising for a person who works in the shop. I was disappointed not to find the warm welcome and the availability of my first visit. I don't know if the girl from last year still works in this Museum, but if this is the case, keep it! She seemed to love his job and was really made for hospitality. Manufacturing pins is unique in France but this should not be its quality, given the price of the entrance ticket a warm welcome would be a minimum...

  • Not to be missed! In addition to extraordinary exhibitions of textile works, combining meticulous and even conceptual contemporary ultra graphics, the visit of the plant itself allows to admire and see work very many machines of a century of age always perfectly maintained and always perfectly suited to the manufacture of needles of all kinds, all bathed in a delicious smell of hot oil, a return in time. The Museum is well designed, special mention to the room where we walk on a huge photographic landscape. We also discover with amazement the life and work of father, early modern, humanistic and progressive pins.
