  • The site is easily accessible from the main road coming from Saint-Remy-De-Provence and is within walking distance of another attraction deserving (Saint-Paul-De-Mausole). At the entrance there is a Visitor Center with shop and toilet, while in the park there is a bar where you can have lunch. The beauty of the place is given by its location, at the foot of a hill and surrounded by nature. The ruins are well preserved and, with the help of illustrative material (brochures and panels along the way) it is easy to imagine the beauty of the place. We, with a bit of a pain, I explored with a child in the stroller. Council to take at least a couple of hours, and to use protection in the summer, because it is very sunny.

  • We visited this site by chance and we liked. For couples, families or friends as well. It's nice to discover if you're in the area.

  • A very pleasant way to spend a morning on a sunny day, and learn about the early inhabitants of Provence. Very well-preserved structures among the best in the region.
  • Interesting place to visit. Impressive to see the ruin was built BCE. I don't think it's a must to see though.
  • Site Archéologique de Glanum is a great place to visit if you love ancient history. Ruins from The Salluvian, Hellenistic and Roman inhabitants from 6th century B.C to 14 A.D. You can pick up a guided map and stroll through the centuries. Go early to avoid the inevitable coaches full of sightseers. Entry is €7.50.
  • A lot more than just old stones.
  • The upper level view offers a good insight towards the strategic reason for it's placement. Good educational value in a couple hours worth of time.
