  • A minor site of Roman Ruins. Both the Mausoleum and the Triumphant Arch have some statues remaining. Fairly good shape for their age and location.  more »
  • Compact site, nestled in a valley with great views up to the Alpilles. Well signposted making a self guided tour easy. Lovely views of the site and St Remy from the belvedere.  more »

  • For people that like to remember the passed, to understand the present. Archaeological sites are always highlights on our journeys and even though the children are very small, they always learn and discover something. Amazing location a beauty of nature. The food in the little " Roman" restaurant on the site was surprisingly good ; I expected frozen pizzas but we had pork screwers and pintade ( kind of chicken) very well seasoned. I think the point was to imitate the ancient Roman food. Delicious. Ps. some of the more important statues etc were moved to the Sade castle. Open for viewing between mid June and mid Sept. (2017)
  • Very nice and well preserved place. Shame that you may not picknick anywhere. I understand there is a small restaurant what probably is the reason. :)
  • Incredible ruins of an ancient Roman city! If you like archaeology even just a little bit, go here.
  • A very pleasant way to spend a morning on a sunny day, and learn about the early inhabitants of Provence. Very well-preserved structures among the best in the region.
  • Well preserved and it's free if you're 25 or younger.
