An interesting tour out of the crowd of the road of the gorges. My teens loved the explanations on the facilities, the history of the use of oils and their properties. Good ice Lavender at the bar.

Exciting, rewarding and informative tour. To do. Yet, I wondered how a tour on the theme of lavender could be of interest. And Yes, the interest is there. The place is full of charm and even his shop gives want to buy.

Staying in the region, and a morning of rain, we slammed shut on a visit to the Museum. Competent and very teacher guide. Light on the various varieties of lavender, their operation and the production of oils.

An absolutely fascinating little visit. The guide was a great character, and we learned a surprising amount about the history and production of lavender. It also has a very fine gift shop.

We visited the Musee de la Lavande in late July 2010 (just missed the lavender season ...)- a very interesting tour with a short film to start. The tour guide ( the owner I think) was both knowledgable and very funny, and though it appeared we were the only English speaking couple, the whole commentary was given in English - most helpful, however the experience would have been excellent in any language on the day.. Recommended to anyone - and buy the lavender products at the end ot the tour in the gift shop ..

Entry per person 6.5 euro. The guided tour takes about 15 minutes, before that a film will be shown. It is briefly on three varieties of lavender. You can smell on the bottle and it is explained briefly what you can do with it. Then it's out to the still of this is explained and then you may be in the showrooms. You can't watch the whole units that are still in the exhibitions. The lavender fields are nice, you can watch but everywhere. The staff is unfriendly, or uberfordert. It didn't like us. We were in June. 2017 there.
