  • The Church is beautiful. To visit her at Easter I could not see the images but I could see that masses and confessions in several languages, including the Spanish offer and at different times.

  • This Basilica is located not far from the boardwalk in seaside. It is nice to visit and take a little cool when it's hot! It is an ancient Church of romano-Byzantine style, built in 1887. Outside the dome, the Church is mostly neo-Romanesque style. Interior reminiscent of the Basilica of St. Sophia of Constantinople. The Church was built to commemorate the battle of Lepanto, which took place on October 7, 1571, battle when the fleet of the ottoman empire was defeated by the fleet of various other empires who wore the colors of Christendom.
