  • What a great meeting! A passionate owner which tells the history of the place, of the creator. It n not save its time to make you go back in time... We can well imagine the conditions of life and work in the last century. The facilities are exceptional and almost functional. A rich Museum, almost living sui tempigne of very modern facilities of the workstations at the time. A very beautiful and great building in a very pretty site. Informative visit for all generations, so that memory is perpetuated. Thanks to this passion tour. For groups, possibility of wine tasting of the Department. Should be interesting!

  • This is a surprisingly interesting place to visit. Though the cultivation of wine has disappeared from this area, that has helped to preserve this winery very well. After it closed in the 1960’s nothing happened here for decades. It allows you to step back in time, visit the wooden interior, especially the wooden wine making vats are spectacular. The wooden vats are huge, and one floor up you will see the press that can be moved over iron rails, as can the grape-carts coming in. The wood-frame is beautifully made. In the former storage areas a collection of utensils and historic photographs tell the story of wine production and the particular products produced here. There are exploratory activities for children, though you might need someone to translate the French instructions.
  • Great tour! These cellars will you back in time to the beginning of the 20th century. The tour is led by a couple of enthusiasts who took several years to collect these memories and prepare the site for the public. We're having a great time in their company and we're fond of wine or not, it's amount of things and not just about the transformation of the grapes. A... rain or not!

  • Wonder in the Dordogne and very interesting: a chai, the beginning of the industrial era and simple but rich explanations by the owner and promoter of the museum itself. To what meditate on industrial humanism and the valorisation of knowledge... all in architecture is authentic, in remarkable condition. 14 to 79 years of age, we all found our account! Parking is a bit far, but do not hesitate to drop in front of the esplanade of the winery... and there are chairs throughout the visit.
