  • Great visit with a "guide" ultra passionate (association of the oyster and Fort-Royer natural Site). Although coming from Bordeaux and knowing "the oyster" for visiting the Museum of Gujan-Mestras Oyster 2 times, we discover even when the history of the oyster, the hardness of the trades and crafts of it. Discover. Excellent tasting (very salty)...

  • A very interesting visit on the hard and laborious process of the cultivation of oysters, that little has changed since it started almost a century ago. The visit is directed by an enthusiastic guide in an environment of stalls of colors of oyster growers and water ponds marina, on the shore of the ocean. For children a "Découverte" parallel activity. Before approaching the site should find out what hours they are visits, 10 h 30, 15 h 00 and 17 h 00 the day that we were, but not every day do them at the same time, and by the cartel in the door, there is also no visits daily. Entry costs € 4.80. After the visit, you can taste oysters with a glass of wine (I think that for €5).

  • Two steps from the port of Boyardville very frequent and very touristy, you can get away to Fort Royer place much more quiet and remained authentic. You can do the tour of the oyster site very interesting for €4.80.

  • Disliking oysters, I did what a ride bike in the family. Very nice, atypical, iodized and colored by its oyster shacks site! Even without the oyster visit, we also learn through panels dedicated to the wildlife, flores and history. Go ahead!

  • A place full of charm: of pretty colorful cabins, a lovely view of the entrance to the port of Boyardville, fort Boyard in the distance, tasting of oysters... To visit a late sunny afternoon to enjoy magical colors.

  • excellent time to learn, to understand, framed by a real passionate, ending with a tasting of oysters with a glass of white wine of the island, facing the huts of the oyster, a moment of intense emotion and sweetness in a landscape of dreams.
