  • This site Neolithic and gallo Roman is amazing. There is a small museum which at the moment is being installed but still can be visited. It contains the objects found on the site. The trunks in oak used during the Neolithic are always visible in the Museum and place in the wells, they have been dated to 2200 BC! The outdoor site has not yet well-defined visit paths you can navigate between the remains. A few explanatory signs are present, and a sheet is lent at the entrance. The staff is very friendly and is passionate about the site. Even if the site is not big it is really surprising.

  • A tranquil place where Celts and Romans took care of their mental and physical vitality. The medicinal water sources are still in tact and there is a water pump which you can pump up the water and drinks. The excavations show clearly how it must have been ever, nature is beautiful and excites the imagination to days gone by.

  • Passing through Burgundy, wandering a little as my fancy, I was intrigued by the discreet sign on the side of the road announcing "salty fountains". Well I haven't really regretted the discovery of this site! Even if the baths and temples remain only the foundation walls and foundations - with even a very clever visible underfloor heating system - we very easily imagines the building of origin thanks to very clear indications. Trunks scooped out as well are still in place after centuries, thanks to the salinity of the water and the lively fountain of gas bubbles is amazing! In addition, the place is very relaxing and is a perfect habitat for multiple species. Finally, I found the guide extremely friendly and available, taking the time to discuss it in with both casual and respectful visitors. We feel the guy basically honest and passionate in its approach... A little sorry by the negative comments from some people who in my view have not all understood. This isn't because we're on vacation to refrain a minimum of intellectual effort. That these greedy people of "ready to eat" are turning instead to factories to tourists... Benedict A. Finistère

  • Amazing historic site, now complemented by a museum which includes the parts found in the excavations. And you can drink at the fountain... salty!
