  • The visit is certainly very interesting, the guide is involved and does not hesitate to engage the public, but it is true that there is little to see, for €6 50 per person (adult) too short visit.

  • At the foot of Mont Cornadore, "water tank" language local old seems, lies the Spa Romains.du Cornadore. Wearing a protective helmet of shocks, there are places in the cave where there is a risk of head banging, we enter into this place where soldiers of the Roman legions would come be healthy. The benefits of the spa and their are recognized and are legion in the Roman Empire. The explanations are clear and precise. There is the possibility to ask a bit more technical questions. The guide always told me. Word of advice, please bring a small flashlight, there's a place dark and dimly lit. The black spot, is the quality / price: for 6,50 euros per person, the visit is enough to see very short. I have read here and there "the passage" by the shop. For what concerns me, never I was forced to stay in the shop. I could leave immediately after the visit of the site. Small details: lots of "unique" sites, offer "petrified" objects and nowhere else. This is false. Several sites in France offer the sale of objects called "petrified". But one sold is not petrified. Petrification is the replacement of organic matter by mineral matter, also called: the silicification. Very long process on a human scale. He comes here to "recovery" limescale deposits on small objects, like that which can be observed at home when one is connected to a network of limestone water, as in the pipes. For tables proposed in these sites, they are similar to ivory, it's filling, a reverse where relief comes to stay the limestone. This does nothing to the results achieved. In several places in France, but also elsewhere, we can find this kind of memories. Most of the time, they are expensive compared to human labor. 95% of the time is provided by nature. Man passes a few seconds every 48 hours or so to go back or move objects so that they don't "stick" and have a uniform deposit in the end. If you have any questions, do not hesitate. It is willingly I will answer you.
