In an almost horizontal rain, we were looking for a museum Recalling the maritime life and it is as we arrived at the foot of the Tower Solidor firstly discovering a tower fortified of all beauty, and on the other the existence of an association International captains having passed Cape Horn! These brought together several pieces of their personal collections in order to evoke this great era of sail. Visited a windy day, more we approached the last floor, you could hear it whistling, this place was even more sense! We felt safe behind this wall of granite! Unfortunately, the round was obviously closed, but I think that the weather we should enjoy a very nice view. Personally, I'm a big fan of the naval museums around the world, this one is small, but the exhibits are all charming. In addition, he is former, with disabled access, or audio guides, multi media showcase or shop and Bookstore and I would say: so much better! Old black and white photos, models of boats made by sailors, the room devoted to the family Bill that I did not know and even the albatross stuffed! It has the charm of things and places dedicated to disappear. And then it all helps make you want to discover the history of the cap-horniers. If the time had allowed us, it is would be gladly walked walk in the neighborhood that is absolutely charming and changes of the tourist crowd that presses itself, rightly, in the city centre and on its walls. So, for those who have time and enjoy the stories of marin: go ahead!
