  • An exceptional place to visit at all costs! It is rare to be able to visit the Fort of small Be given of the tides, so when the opportunity arises we must seize! The guide is passionate and exciting, you you can imagine in the Fort, on the side of 150 men, an English attack, when it will present strategies for the defence of the Bay designed by Vauban. Then you will visit the living spaces that are being renovated in the same way as a result of the many looting to sudden Fort. You will go down then visit the powder magazine and understand the intelligence of a piece to that dangerous content at the time! The € 4/6 the best spent stay. The guide is passionate and accessible answering everyone's questions even younger. The work of renovation is huge and sublime, the breathtaking views! If I could get 10 stars I would!

  • We visited this interesting Fort while in the Sant-Malo Tourist Office informed us badly. Them we had expressly asked for this visit and the Lady attending us told us repeatedly that it was a site private, not open to visitors. The strong IF it is closed to the public, and also visit is very interesting and recommended. The promenade to reach the Fort (at low tide) deserves to enjoy, is a must-see in Saint Malo.

  • wait for the low tide (WARNING - if you get stuck there, you will have to wait for the low tide). generally you can walk at around 30 minutes before the low tide, then I am not sure how long it remains the same. I guess you have 1 hour to explore the small island by foot, more if you are a bit adventurous!
  • Outstanding visit across the water at low tide, you can even spend a night at the fort alone sleeping in the old military barracks with no electricity. Well worth a visit just to understand the military value and get a real feel for the area. From Australia.
  • Très belle histoire
  • visite très intéressante !
  • The excursion to the island of Petit Bé worthwhile in any case (warning: possible only at low tide/low tide walk). Whether you want to pay 6 euros for the admission to the Fort must itself decide. Apart from the views there is nothing great to see, and the short guide included in the entrance fee (in French and English only) was "Unfortunately".
