  • Great family, guided by an owner very erudite and humorous, which starts to reach children while knowing passionate parents. Chests, arms and authentic spices amaze adults and children before borrowing a back staircase. Yet good connoisseur of privateering activity, I learned a lot of things, including on international traders-shipowner Malo activity, the crews pay and on the role of spices in the eighteenth century... Visit not to be missed under any circumstances in the case of passage in Saint-Malo, even in February, and despite the Carnival! The cellars of François Auguste Magon of the Moor are superb, the beautiful forged railing.

  • Our guide is a selfless man and who staged with great d ' humour l ' history of privateers, their journeys and their malouines lives; it is more pleasant than to follow him through the maze of his home. Still a bit of work and it will be able to compete with Mr. Luchini. J ' came alone, but j ' also liked see l ' entoutiasme of children in l ' assistance; C ' is a must-see, instructive visit not only on the filibustering, but also on l ' art of staging oratory .what lovely moment .thank you Sir

  • Very good guide that make us live the time as if you were there and there is already nothing in this huge House of more than 1000 m 2

  • A most excellent guide. Passionate and exciting. We learn lots of things about the difference between pirates and privateers, the life of Saint Malo at the end of the sixteenth to the French Revolution, told in a style that is at once casual, erudite and full of anecdotes. Thank you.

  • Very interesting even for children. Very welcoming. The only downside we visit ultimately less that we don't listen to, places are not extraordinary. But we learn bcp on privateers...

  • Attention, in the month of June, nobody answers the phone or don't recall. It was necessary to go on-site to learn only one visit per day, at 3 pm. On the other hand, for have already carried out it, the visit is exciting!

  • Excellent visit, an extraordinary guide that takes you to the discovery of the rich history of the MAGO shipowner, particularly at the time of the East India Company. More than 1 h 30 visit, an abundance of anecdotes and humor. Anyway, this visit is top to revise its bases of history without realizing it, learn lots of interesting facts about pirates, St-Malo, the wars between the France and England, not to mention the trade with the East India Company... hour and a half later, we say, "oh no, it's over, I would have kept it!"?
