  • a passionate but... almost 2: 00 3-piece... visit it presents little, large group standing in the room. expensive for the provision proposed... at least we were sheltered from the rain... Laughing out loud!

  • The prospectus is attractive but disappointment moved quickly over the visit, we conducted this summer, which is actually very static and is more akin to a lesson in local history to a guided tour (as a tour guide, I know of) what I'm talking about). There is really not much to look at and feels that the guide, as nice as is, is obliged to "furnish" by Word and a few riddles (thanks to children to play the game!). I doubt that some parts open to visitors deserve the qualifier of "salons of pageantry", but the cellars are, no doubt, of great interest! In addition, the hundreds of visitors who has lumps on a permanent turnover of visits probably isn't the best way to follow the guide. Some objects it shows become hard to see by all at the same time. Whatever it is, the big (and good) this House of privateer public opening are a good investment to get money in the coffers, malouines traditions oblige! I hope that Saint-Malo can live much longer on this kind of mass tourism that invaded the city intramural but unfortunately some visitors feeling, like us, fools make it known.

  • Superb visit (1 h 15 ~), with an enthusiast as a guide. Humour and anecdotes, I had a great time! Do not go there on a rainy day (many people), try to spend the morning has 10 hours to fully enjoy the guide and his incredible knowledge.

  • Well worth a visit. Guide passionate and exciting, very good speaker/storyteller and humorous. Once over the visit, you come out full of stars in the head and specialist of the corsairs. Worth the drive.

  • Excellent explanations given with humor, the guide was great. A little disappointed n have visited only three pieces that were are all fairly trivial, but learned a lot about privateers. The kids got a little hard to follow (5 and 7 years old) and s also waited to see objects and more specific rooms.

  • A guided tour that plunges us into the atmosphere of this time of privateers, a passionate guide who knows his subject on the tips of the fingers, the home is beautiful, we spent a little more than two hours without us noticing, I highly recommend!
