  • The Museum, very interesting and instructive, a good point. The second good point, the walk to access the heights through the Woods. And a very good final point the excavations and archaeological reconstructions. must see...

  • The prototype of the Museum expensive and disappointing. Frankly not friendly, surly limit. Visit of windows with CAF similes (misery), very little info on the site itself - as the objects or materials, even bother to talk about (almost nothing). Something for school visits - there is perfect. Ultra expensive for one of the chumps that I've visited. Nearby, go rather to Chatillon - on the Seine, where there is a museum. Visit with guide on Mount, not better: three HYPER long standing stations, frankly boring with no more info than the cartels set up here where teams are searching... Too bad for a site that concentrates as many researchers. For adults, and those who already have a little idea of what is a fibula: hover over the Wikipedia article, Park yourself on the free parking, and you take a walk as large on the Mont Beuvray.

  • A view that drove our ancestors the Aedui to occupy this incredible site. An amazing view until Switzerland. Vercingetorix struggle against the Roman empire he is defeated at Alesia but Caesar does not dare to face him at Bibracte. Later Caesar moved to Bibracte and writing his memoirs. A place taking, emotional, impossible to be indifferent to so much emotion!

  • Excellent museography, audio and visual guides, interactive screens and a wonderful in-depth exploration of the Celtic civilisation in general, beyond Bibracte. Fantastic. Also - great introduction to archaeology. A must-see in the region.
  • A fantastic place to visit if you are interested in Julius Caesar, the Roman Empire, or the Celts. I could have spent weeks here and still not seen all I wanted to.
  • I had suffered, that it was a must for this region, and that you should take off half a day for, unfortunately there was a half day to little, to view the route. For that you're on the route begins, the museum is a condition, to the history of the region and the excavations. If you've visited, you can also find here everything about in the surrounding places. Autun speaks even then. Even suitable for children. (apart from duimedraaïers).

  • The Museum on mont Beuvray is beautifully crafted and is a fine setting for the "Celtic civilization". If the set is interesting, strong and sometimes original, is still a bit indigestible and difficult to follow. However there are interesting.
