  • We visited the ruins of this castle, we were alone... wow! What nice environment, nice views from the top! We stayed there for 3 hours, it was beautiful. Must be able to walk on a slope.

  • Living in the South of Limoges, a few km away, it is always with pleasure that I come back to Chalucet. The castle is very well highlighted and the site is beautiful, so to enjoy the ruins than to go hiking in the forest. Only thing that would be nice is to indicate schedules and opening hours of the tour. It's a shame to want to ride but end up in front of a closed door while the view is so beautiful.

  • The beginning is a little sport. It is difficult to access to aged persons or disabled. It is also much better under the Sun than rain (obviously). Otherwise it's a great place, old stone, in the middle of a beautiful nature. We recommend. In a typical landscape of the limousin you will find this old Castle in ruins but fairly well preserved. You will see in addition to the Castle housing the Knights and Lords all around. It is a beautiful testimony of the past mixed with a nice bowl of clean air.
