  • Apart from tourists (Port of Arçais, Coulon) motorways, this Jetty allows to visit the wild swamp in peace. Another advantage, it is next to a bird park, whose visit is very nice.

  • The Green Venice to natural assets but dragging on its channels with a guide that makes you discover as well the story that the ecosystem and who takes the time to explain it, it changes everything. To focus on without reserve!

  • When you rent a boat "chauffeur" in the Marais Poitevin, you are entitled to a walk in the plate with a boatman who you talking about the trees, the channels and the birds, and stuns you by setting fire to the surface of the water. At the port of Montfaucon, you start with a course of history and geography, maps in support, which explains why, when and how this marshy area of over 100,000 hectares has been set up by man and how it is complex to keep in condition. A bit off trails (or the Goms) beaten by tourists, is worth a visit.

  • The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Detailed explanation of the course. Possibility of Spades picnic on private land. The Marsh very quiet area, far from any road

  • We spent 2 h 30 super. Thanks to Adrien for his explanations and his knowledge. Guide very tuned. We had been recommended this place: we recommend it to our turn. The story of the marshes before getting on the boats is very well done.

  • A pier of friendly, far from "factories" that some sites became a welcome interesting with a little history on the Marsh, the local boatmen who know the area and navigate to the pigouille, shady, infrequent channels and the coypu...

  • This pier was certainly one of the most pleasant of the Marsh, however, for some time, we endure the non-regulatory cross, equipped with muffler bikes ROAR and so excessively noisy. The passage of these bikes in the marais on and around the bridges that dot the ride, make it unbearable

  • extraordinary walk thank you for your explanation of your remarks, your humor and your kindness Mathys. If you have to make a visit in the swamp without hesitation, you will be away from the crowds and especially away from the cohort of busloads of visitors.
