  • Since the time I come to Saint Emilion I've never been in the cloister of the cordeliers. Beautiful ruins. Relaxing place where are installed a few tables to taste the famous wine sparkling cordeliers.

  • Les Cordeliers is on the edge of town, and there are views of the surrounding countryside. The ruins represent a monastery complex, and still display the stonework required to keep thes walls standing. There is a shop. We are sorry we did not have time to enjoy a glass of bubbly, since the ambiance was so inviting.
  • It's absolutely lovely, a cocoon bucolic and freshness in the city. Mandatory entry/exit passage through the store's a little tacky but you quickly forget it because the setting is really nice. The service was impeccable.

  • Beautiful scenery, to create a beautiful atmosphere, but prices up to three times higher than in store on some bottles!
