  • Located in the high part of the city, this church and its cloister was founded as a convent and later its name from collegiate church was transformed into a College of canons, there. Original of the 12TH century in the Romanesque style underwent modifications until the 18TH century, being its predominantly Gothic interior. What I liked most was the large stained-glass window over the main Chapel and the beautiful carved wooden pulpit. Next is tourism office that indeed occupies what was once the refectory.

  • Very beautiful monument, to see! Must-see when you visit Saint Emilion. The adjoining cloister is all too great.

  • We were with a tour guide who gave us lots of interesting information about the church. Recommend seeing with a guide. Amazed at the construction and resources put into this structure.
